Quantum Shorts: Encore has been designated to be an IYQ Global Event by the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) Steering Committee!
2025 has been designated by UNESCO as IYQ. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of quantum mechanics. To celebrate, Quantum Shorts is screening winning films from all editions of the film festival at events organised with partners around the world. The films have already been screened in Singapore, Canada, Brazil and New Zealand.
The special designation of “IYQ Global Event” is given by the IYQ Steering Committee to selected events with global reach and impact. It comes with financial support from IYQ partners.
The financial support will allow Quantum Shorts to organise more Encore screenings with partners. If you are interested to be a partner and host a screening, please contact us.
